How do I check wether the water inlet valve is working? I have the 05 error code. My steam unit won't produce heat above 80° and it takes it 20 mins to get to 80°
To test the inlet valve, you must turn on the unit and see if you hear a thumping sound. If the inlet valve opens they should hear water going into the tanks. If that does not happen it’s the inlet valve. To test more in detail, please open the side panel and with a multimeter check voltage in the inlet valve. If you can see the power and the solenoid does not open, then the solenoid needs replacement.
I hear a thump but there is no water flow.
I'm getting 7.5vdc at the water inlet valve.
When i ground the other terminal on the inlet valve the water begins to flow.
How do I test the water level sensors?
How do I insure the wires are connected to correct terminals?
Do I need to pull the sensor out to determine correct wire connection?
